How we work

What to expect from a visit

  • We look before we touch

Every chimney visit starts with a camera down the flue, and every duct visit with photos of the inside, so the work is based on what is really there.

  • Photos you keep

You get photos from before and after, and pictures of anything worth noting, whether or not it needs work right away.

  • We come to you

There is no storefront. We work from Bloomfield and come to your home, which is why our Google listing shows a service area and no street address.

  • Eleven counties from one base

Essex County towns are minutes away. Farther counties, up to Camden in the south, are covered on scheduled days so the trip is planned.

A service-area business

Why there is no address to visit

Royal Chimney Sweep & Duct Cleaning Bloomfield NJ has no showroom or counter, on purpose. Chimneys, dryer vents and ducts are fixed where they are, so the van and the tools go to the house.

We work out of Bloomfield, in Essex County, and serve 39 towns in eleven New Jersey counties, from Fair Lawn and Paterson to Middletown and the Camden County towns we visit on set days. Each town has its own page on this site with what we see most there.

One number covers every county. It is answered every day from 7 am to 9 pm, and the booking form is open 24/7. When you book online, we call you back during office hours to confirm the time.

A hundred years of lime mortar requires a careful, low-RPM touch, and that antique sensibility was obvious in the preservation-grade sweeping of our 1910 hearth.

  • Stephanie F.

Soot was cleaned from the flue lining with non-abrasive polymer heads, leaving the critical structural integrity of the ceramic glaze undamaged.

Before any damage to the fundamental integrity of the ceiling, we were able to fix the outside chimney leaks after identifying significant water damage behind the lead counter-flashing.
