Yes, as far as your own appliances and flue go. If the problem looks like it comes from a flue serving another unit, we will tell you and the owner, since the fix has to start there.
Our basement laundry vents a long way. Is that a problem?
Longer runs collect more lint, especially where they bend or rise. We clean the full length to the outside hood and check that the hood flap opens freely.
